FAQs

Do you replace our regular visiting GP?
We complement existing providers and can fill gaps (after‑hours/leave) or provide routine telehealth follow‑ups where appropriate.

How do you handle consent and substitute decision‑makers?
We follow Victorian consent law. Facilities can share SDM/guardian details during onboarding; consent is confirmed before care.

How are scripts supplied?
eScripts are sent to the facility’s partnered pharmacy (token or direct). We can also prescribe directly onto the facility's prescribing software (e.g. BestMed or others).

Paper scripts can be provided upon request.

Can you order tests and imaging?
Yes—pathology and imaging referrals can be issued; some collections may require on‑site services or external clinics.

Can residents be bulk billed?
Bulk billing is available for eligible residents/services per current criteria. Otherwise standard fees apply.

What about emergencies?
We are not an emergency service. For acute deterioration, call 000 and follow your facility escalation policy.
