Zelica Health is a mixed billing clinic. Bulk-billed for eligible Medicare card holders. Medicare gap fees (if any) are displayed at booking and paid online after the appointment.

Some diagnostic tests may be bulk billed by the provider depending on eligibility.

FAQs

1. Do you bulk bill?

Yes for Medicare card holders, for short appointments only. For longer appointments and weekends, gap fee is payable via Tyro. Please visit our Billing Policy to find out more

2. Can I get a script after hours?
Yes—if clinically appropriate. Some medicines require in‑person assessment under Australian law.

3. Do you see children?
Yes for many common issues. Infants < 12 weeks or seriously unwell children should be assessed in person.

4. Can you prescribe Schedule 8 medicines (e.g., most opioids, some ADHD medicines)?
Not unless you have been a regular patient with our clinic. 

5. How fast will I receive my eScript?
Usually during the consult or shortly after, via SMS or email as an eScript token.

6. Is this emergency care?
No. If symptoms are severe or life‑threatening, call 000 or attend your nearest ED.
